Virginia's Community of Anytime Knowledge (VCAK), is an online educational adventure in which discovery, collaboration and creativity are all part of the learning process. The Community of Anytime Knowldge provides dynamic online professional development courses for educators. Teachers can use these courses for continuing education, in-service, or graduate credits towards salary differentials and career advancement. Virginia's Community of Anytime Knowledge is a partnership between Virginia’s Public Broadcasting Stations *(VAPBS) and the Virginia Society for Technology in Education (VSTE).This partnership has given us the opportunity to provide Virginia Educators with an extensive listing of online Professional Development opportunities. VCAK offers a wide variety of courses in units of 5, 10, 15, 30, and 45 hours in Reading and Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Instructional Strategies, and Instructional Technology.
